Driven by the success of the Colares wines in 1921, the Viscount of Salreu erected, in Banzão, large cellars designed by architect Norte Júnior.
The vernacular-inspired building stretches along two parallel blocks forming a set of startling volumes.
The façade is imposing for those who pass the road that connects Colares to Maçãs Beach. It is currently owned by the Chitas family.
