Located in Santa Eufémia da Serra, about 470 meters above sea level, this viewpoint offers one of the most beautiful views over the municipality of Sintra, from Queluz to the Ocean.
According to the chronicles of the crusades dating to 1147, the water from the Santa Eufémia Fountain had healing powers, which is why the Santa Eufémia hermitage was ordered constructed in the 13th century. This space also includes a recreational area, with a park and picnic area, offering cool shadow on warm days.
