São Julião Beach is located further north in the municipality of Sintra, divided among the two municipalities of Sintra and Mafra by River Falcão.
The largest stretch of sand, about 2 km long, is located in the municipality of Sintra. This beach is frequently visited by lovers of water sports, such as bodyboarding and surfing, and is also excellent for underwater fishing as there are many fishing grounds.
